I have lived in Swansea and the surrounding communities since 2005, raising my family and dedicating my career to public service. I am a qualified nurse, a graduate in Agricultural Science, and hold postgraduate qualifications in Nursing, Business Administration and Bioinformatics. For the past sixteen years, I have worked in social care for the City and County of Swansea, supporting people with learning disabilities and advocating for dignity, safety, and independence.
Alongside my professional work, I have served as a school governor, parish councillor, community association president, and long-standing UNISON member. These roles have shaped my understanding of the real issues facing working families—health, housing, cost of living, job security, and community wellbeing. I am standing because I believe our communities need representatives who understand everyday life, who listen first, and who act with fairness, compassion, and integrity.
Why I’m Standing
My goal is simple: to be a strong voice for Brycheiniog Tawe Nedd. The challenges we face—long waits for healthcare, pressures on schools, rising costs, uncertainty for workers, and stretched public services—are real and urgent. I want to use my experience in frontline care, community service, and local leadership to push for solutions that make people’s lives better.
I believe politics should be rooted in community, not careerism. I want the government to hear the voices of ordinary people, especially those who feel overlooked or unheard. Standing for this constituency is my way of giving back to the place that has given so much to me.
